As a SCHENCK / DRR expert specializing in testing equipment, you will serve as the primary technical point of contact for our customers. Your role will involve becoming well-versed in all aspects of testing equipment, gaining insights into the evolution of end-of-line testing technology through fieldwork. This position offers a dynamic and challenging environment, accompanied by a diverse range of continuous education and training opportunities. Your responsibilities will include implementing modernization and upgrades of equipment, providing after-sales services such as error diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance, analyzing system malfunctions and measurement issues, identifying and rectifying equipment failures, supporting onsite teams, advising on the proper usage of applications, operation, and maintenance of machines, conducting customer training, calibration, and maintenance activities, offering active customer advice on services, spare parts, and modernization, providing online customer support, managing spare parts and related commercials, testing technical specifications, characteristic values, and limit values, and assisting customers in achieving optimal efficiency and machine reliability. To qualify for this role, you should hold a minimum of a B.E. / B.Tech degree in Mechatronics, electrical engineering, or a related field. Furthermore, experience or knowledge of industrial automated machinery, excellent problem-solving skills, proficiency in programming languages such as C, C#, Visual Basic (additional advantage), BUS communication (Ethernet basics addressing / communication protocols), drives, motors (servo / induction), encoders, familiarity with Outlook, Excel, Word, Access, and Windows operating system, excellent verbal and written English communication skills, a team player mindset with a strong service orientation and friendly demeanor, an independent and professional work ethic, flexibility, bondability, high motivation, attention to detail, and willingness to travel occasionally are essential. You will be working with the Product & Systems in Bengaluru. Build to simplify. This role focuses on integrating Exponent&aposs HV stack with OEM buses and fleets, ensuring seamless communication, performance, and compliance with safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Lead vehicle-level integration of the HV stack (e^pack and e^pump) with OEMs Collaborate with OEM engineering teams for electrical harness design, HV safety, and thermal management Conduct validation testing for power delivery, BMS-HV system communication, and performance benchmarking Support homologation and certification activities Document integration protocols and create technical handover packages for OEMs Requirements: 3+ years in HV systems integration for EVs or heavy vehicles Strong knowledge of high-voltage safety protocols, bus communication, and energy systems Experience with vehicle integration testing, HV architecture, and diagnostic tools Ability to interface directly with OEM engineering teams and resolve cross-functional challenges Understanding of fundamentals and hands on experience on safety related to High Voltage systems is a must What matters: Quality of work Approach towards problem-solving Dissatisfaction towards mediocre work Resilient attitude to bounce back after failing About Us Exponent simplifies energy for EVs.
