HR GENERALIST — ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES (QSR | Multi-category Café: Soft-serve, Taiyaki, Cheese Teas, Appetizers, Small Plates, Mains) MISSION: Build and scale BUNGEO's first powerhouse team by hiring, engaging, and retaining high-quality talent aligned with our gourmet craft and hospitality ethos. Core Responsibilities 1) Talent Acquisition & Onboarding End-to-end hiring for store keepers, stewards, tea baristas, coffee baristas, chefs, cashiers, housekeeping, and shift leads. Conduct walk-in drives, local institute tie-ups, employee referrals. Create role scorecards, interview scripts, trial shift assessments. Smooth onboarding with documentation, orientation, buddy system. 2) People Operations & Payroll Inputs Manage attendance, roster planning, weekly offs, leave tracking. Deliver error-free payroll inputs monthly. Oversee uniforms, asset handovers, consumable allowances, safety gear. 3) Compliance & Documentation PF/ESIC, Shops & Establishments registration, PoSH compliance, FSSAI hygiene documentation. Maintain updated employee files and legal registers. 4) Training & Culture Coordinate SOP & Hygiene training with operations leads. Establish Bungeo Values Rituals: daily briefings, customer recovery mindset. Create recognition programs and engagement calendars. 5) Performance & Discipline Support store managers in appraisals, objective setting, and performance tracking. Handle grievances, warnings, and separation processes professionally. 6) Safety & Wellbeing Ensure food safety, fire drills, first aiders per shift. Late-evening transport policy for women. Advocate for physical & mental well-being. 7) People Data & Insights Weekly people dashboards: hiring funnel, absenteeism, attrition, hiring cost, training completion. Turn insight into furious action. Qualifications & Skills Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Psychology, or related field MBA/PGDM in HR preferred (not mandatory if experience is strong) Experience: 3–6 years of HR experience in QSR / F&B / Retail / Hospitality / Supermarket chains Hands-on hiring for frontline store staff: stewards, baristas, chefs, cashiers, storekeepers Field operations experience: multi-store exposure is a huge plus Proven track record of fast hiring turnaround and low attrition initiatives Skills & Functional Knowledge: Recruitment & Onboarding | Payroll & Attendance | Statutory Compliance in Karnataka Employee Relations: conflict handling, disciplinary actions, store audits Training Support: hygiene, SOP reinforcement People Analytics: hiring funnel, absenteeism, retention dashboards Proficient in MS Excel / Google Sheets / HRIS tools Languages: Hindi & English – required Attitudes & Behaviors: People-first hospitality mindset: smiles before spreadsheets Comfortable visiting stores 3–4 days/week Thrives in fast-paced and ambiguous startup environment Ownership mindset: doesn’t wait for instructions Discretion & maturity handling sensitive issues 📩 Apply Now: bungeocreamery@gmail.com
