My guess. While construction, MEP and some interior materials are available in India, this role may have a substantial IMPORTS content Long term relationships with steel, cement, sand, jelly and such bulk suppliers and other relationships with other suppliers Lead end-to-end procurement for multiple real estate projects, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. Build and maintain strong vendor and supplier relationships with an emphasis on local, eco-friendly, and sustainable sourcing. Guy has to choose vendors who follow Organos work ethos and priorities. IS THIS TOO MUCH TO ASK? Collaborate with project, design, sustainability, and finance teams to align procurement goals with business objectives. Ensure all procurement activities adhere to internal policies, regulatory compliance, and ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) standards. IS THIS TOO MUCH TO ASK? Conduct market research to identify trends, pricing dynamics, and alternative suppliers. Oversee contract negotiations, purchase orders, service level agreements (SLAs), and vendor performance evaluation. Implement ERP and procurement automation tools to streamline operations and improve procurement visibility. What do they have now Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing and bulk procurement strategies. Lead and mentor the procurement team to drive efficiency, agility, and innovation. What is the size of team? Who does this function report to? Desired Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Supply Chain / Business. MBA or certification in Supply Chain/Procurement is preferred. Minimum 12 years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in the Real Estate or Construction industry. Proven expertise in sourcing construction materials, eco-friendly alternatives, and vendor negotiations. Not sure of eco-friendly alternatives Strong knowledge of contract laws, procurement compliances, and vendor due diligence. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Passion for sustainability, green building practices, and ethical sourcing.
