The PaPM Senior Expert plays a critical role in the program by building solutions, engaging with Business Analysts for delivery, and enhancing existing solutions. This position offers the opportunity to independently assess business requirements, design solutions, build them, and move to production. The role also involves connecting with Upstream/Downstream applications for data sourcing/delivery and collaborating with business stakeholders to gather requirements and prepare development plans. As a member of the PaPM COE, the candidate will work as a team member to ensure smooth functioning of PaPM Calculations in BAU mode. Additionally, they will focus on new development, enhancements, and improvements of existing calculations to provide best-in-class solutions. Understanding business requirements and transforming them into PaPM solutions to meet business needs is a key responsibility. The candidate will be responsible for initiating, facilitating design discussions, overseeing development, and deploying the built solutions. It is essential for the candidate to be aware of risk management related to data maintenance and utilize this knowledge proactively during development. Qualifications for this role include education in CA, CFA, MBA, and training in SAP PaPM and SAP FICO. Role-specific technical competencies required are in PaPM architecture, design, building, requirement analysis, solution design, and familiarity with SAP FICO, ABAP, or BW.
