Role Summary This role is to work as part of a team to support the delivery of projects. This role will be working under the supervision of a senior or project engineer to carry out the following functions: Responsibilities Follow in full the document control and QA processes relevant to project work, ensuring drawings, specifications, reports and correspondence are issued, and filed / archived in an appropriate manner Assist others in compiling design specification within given deadlines including checking compliance with the project brief through calculation and cross reference of manufacturers literature; ensuring all relevant standards and guides are used as reference with the design specification Organize and carry out detailed design to WSP and Building Regulations standard ensuring CDM, QA and technical review and sign off by project leader, including complex calculations and co-ordination issues Organize and undertake technical calculations to industry standards in conjunction with team members; supervise the work of team members to ensure the delegated work is completed to deadlines / standard and report to the project leader any issues, risks or client changes Prepare elemental work for project budget costing as delegated by the senior team member, within agreed deadlines and standards Deal with the day to day queries from Line Manager the WSP USA Team, ensuring that relevant information is available on time for construction activity Contribute to and question technical and construction issues and encourage and help the trainees to better understand the design process Determine appropriate software for Computer Aided Design, construct models and undertake analysis and Manual checks Key Competencies / Skills Cultural awareness, conscientious and an open mind and excellent communication skills are essential requirements for the role. Preferred skills Experience in analysis and design of mid to high raise building structures. Working knowledge on US codes of practice and US projects. Experties in ETABS, RAM Concept, RAM Structural System, perform 3D and SAFE. Understanding on seismic design of structures including performance based design. Wood design. Design of Steel Structures. Post-tensioned and RC slab design. Ability to develop spreadsheets and Automate day to day tasks.

You should possess an ITI/ D.C.E Civil qualification with a minimum of 3 years of experience in drafting structural engineering projects. Your role will require good AutoCAD drafting experience along with experience in drafting civil structures and building structures. As a fast learner, you should be able to work both independently and in a team environment, demonstrating good communication skills. Attention to detail is crucial, and you must work precisely and with concentration. Experience in Autodesk Revit Structure is preferred for this role.,

Draftsman needed to prepare accurate AutoCAD drawings (Revit/BIM is a plus) for construction projects, coordinate with site teams, update plans as needed, and ensure compliance with design standards. B.tech/Diploma with 2+ years’ experience required.

Applicants must have between 5-8years of experience in Civil Engineering, Middle East/US/UK experience, which would be desirable but are not essential. Good communication skills, and ability to work well independently at times. Able to see the bigger picture and take a birds-eye view of projects Confident, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure. Civil Site Supervisor -10 to 15 Experience in construction of multi- storied office building preferably with a reputed civil contracting company must be capable of handling civil structure independently size 20-22 story building working with Real Estate Builders will be extra advantage. Candidate profile: Minimum Diploma holder with 10 years experience in constructing multi- storied high rise office buildings .
