The Developer - Node JS will play a key role in establishing a full-stack framework to support multi-country, multi-currency, and multi-brand solutions, while also driving the adherence to established guidelines. You will be responsible for various tasks, including but not limited to: - Prototyping, designing, and developing solutions with a focus on multi-country, multi-currency, and multi-brand integrations. - Striving for continuous improvement in development processes, standards, and overall quality. - Collaborating closely with product owners to devise software technology plans spanning multiple generations. - Engaging directly with stakeholders to grasp both business and technical requirements. - Ensuring effective communication within the immediate team to maintain consistent messaging. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as architecture, backend integration, visual design, UX teams, and QA teams. In terms of work experience, the ideal candidate should possess: - At least 3 years of experience in software product development and delivery leveraging Node.js as a framework. - Hands-on experience in developing RESTful micro-service-based applications. - Proficiency in Node.js with a track record of developing scalable APIs. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum or XP), test & behavior-driven development, continuous integration, and version control. - Experience working with nearshore/offshore teams. - Strong skills in building enterprise applications with microservices, accompanied by a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, Software Design Patterns, and Full-stack coding principles. - Proficiency in web services (REST, SOAP, WSDL, etc.), utilizing No-SQL databases like MongoDB and Aerospike, and pub/sub (Kafka) mechanisms. - Experience with modern frameworks, design patterns, and container-based applications. - Expertise in utilizing Node Libraries & NPM Modules, Koa, Express frameworks. - Exposure to Azure/AWS services for the middle-tier would be advantageous. - Knowledge of related DevOps tools is a plus (e.g. VSTS/Azure DevOps, Jira, Hudson, Sonar, Jenkins, etc.). - Hands-on experience in building scalable and highly available distributed systems. - Possession of strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to articulate technical topics effectively.,
