As a Revit/CAD Drafter at our company, you will play a crucial role in the technical production process by effectively producing design and construction documents. Your responsibilities will include refining technical drawings based on feedback from the design architect, project manager, and clients. You will be expected to read blueprints and develop working drawings from concepts with limited supervision. Additionally, transforming building elevations into representation drawings will be a key part of your role. The minimum qualifications for this position include an Associate degree or completion of a technical diploma in Revit/CAD drafting. You should have a minimum of 2 years of experience with advanced Revit/AutoCAD skills. Attention to detail, accuracy, and visual aesthetic is essential, along with strong communication skills. The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, contractors, and consultants is crucial. You should be able to work independently while adhering to clients" Revit/CAD standards. Proficiency in MS Office software is required, and you must be able to provide your resume and work samples in PDF format. Preferred qualifications for this role include a degree or certificate in Architecture or Drafting, along with at least 2 years of work experience. Knowledge of working with BIM or US Building Codes is a must, as applicants without similar experience will not be considered. The ability to work independently in a fast-paced dynamic environment is desired, as well as working skills with SketchUp and Revit.
