In this position, you will be working on our next-gen routing Platforms (Core Routing and SDWAN) that provide solutions for Enterprise/SP and Fortune 500 customers. You will be involved in industry standard technologies such as SD-WAN Security, MACSec, Etherchannel, IPSEC/GRE, ZBFW, IPS/IDS, TLS, SSL Proxy, different VPN technologies, OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP. The Enterprise routing team comprises high-energy, hardworking, quality-focused engineers with diverse perspectives and experiences to tackle complex engineering challenges. Your impact will involve developing, implementing, and automating test cases for platforms and software in the Enterprise routing market. A good grasp of SD-WAN Security, MACSec, IPSEC/GRE, ZBFW, IPS/IDS, TLS, SSL Proxy, various VPN technologies, Layer2/Layer3 protocols, strong Python script development skills, understanding of Plug n Play or Zero Touch deployments, effective communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with a multi-functional and geographically dispersed team are encouraged. Prior experience in AI tools for automation will be advantageous. You will also engage with Business Development, External Partners, Hardware/Software Engineering, and Release Operations throughout the development cycle. Minimum qualifications include a BSEE/MSEE/CS with 9 to 13 years of experience in software testing. Possessing CCNA, CCNP, or other Cisco certifications will be a plus. A solid understanding of SD-WAN Security, MACSec, Etherchannel, IPSEC/GRE, ZBFW, IPS/IDS, TLS, SSL Proxy, various VPN technologies, Layer2/Layer3 protocols, Plug n Play or Zero Touch deployments, excellent scripting proficiency in Python, Rest API Automation, and familiarity with AI tools for automation are essential. Experience with test tools like traffic analyzers (e.g., Sniffer, Ethereal) and traffic generation tools (e.g., Ixia, Spirent - stateful and stateless) is required. Additionally, proficiency in writing test plans, designing test cases, implementing test cases, and end-to-end automation of scale is necessary. Preferred qualifications include strong knowledge in setting up test labs and configurations, a solid understanding of software quality and processes, test plan design and development for system test environments, developing topologies based on test requirements, and setting up test beds. Following test processes such as bug logging, bug repro, and result archival are also part of the preferred qualifications.
