As a Finacle Functional Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and accurate migration of our core banking solution, Finacle, from version 10.2.15 to 10.2.25. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct comprehensive testing and validation processes to guarantee a successful migration process. Your responsibilities will include testing the end-to-end functionality and features of Finacle Version 10.2.25, as well as testing the functionality and features of bank applications integrated with Finacle. To accomplish this, you will collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and design comprehensive test cases and scenarios. A successful candidate for this role should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Finacle 10 Functional Testing and prior experience in Finacle migration projects or Finacle customization/enhancement testing. You should possess a strong understanding of banking processes, financial products, and services. Your proficiency in preparing comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test data based on functional specifications will be essential. You will be required to execute functional, regression, and integration tests for Finacle and should have a good command of SQL and database operations. Excellent communication and documentation skills are a must for this role, along with experience in using project management tools. You should be adept at bug capturing and reporting, with knowledge of various Finacle menus and logic. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment is crucial, as well as strong logical thinking and attention to detail. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, participation in peer reviews, and providing constructive feedback will be beneficial for this role.
