As the Facilities Manager - Technical within the Integrated Facilities Management business unit, you will be responsible for overseeing a wide range of issues, from strategic contracts management to day-to-day operations. Your primary goal will be to ensure the delivery of facility management services that meet or exceed client expectations. Your duties and responsibilities will include leading the JLL management team, ensuring maintenance services are delivered within budget and contractual commitments, developing and managing service level agreements, evaluating subcontractors" performance, setting annual goals for energy savings and cost reduction, and maintaining records related to facility management operations. You will also be responsible for training team members on quality policies and procedures, auditing subcontractors on material quality and site upkeep, conducting performance appraisals, liaising with the HR department for training recommendations, preparing preventive maintenance registers, developing MIS reports, and chairing progress meetings in the absence of the operations manager. Your role will involve general administration and management, client and business unit liaison, team management, monthly reporting, expense tracking, budget preparation, policy formulation, property services oversight, risk management, emergency response planning, vendor management, and operational audits. In this position, you will provide strong leadership, manage on-site operations effectively, drive excellence among team members, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. You should have a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Facilities Operations or Hotel Management, with a B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering and tertiary qualifications in building management and/or business being desirable. To excel in this role, you must possess impeccable leadership skills, have a proactive and inclusive leadership style, be results-driven with a customer service focus, and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. Your ability to analyze situations, show resilience, and maintain a positive attitude will be crucial for success in this position.
