Job Category: Watches & Wearables - Marketing Department: Marketing - Titan Job Description: To assist in the development the brand strategy implement, track and optimize branding communications initiatives in the to enhance the brand engagement among the target customers as per the brand strategy and business requirements. Process Contributions: PRODUCT + COMMUNICATIONS: Strategy Development: Annual marketing plan: Undertake marketing / customer research to understand the brand positioning, trends, insights, gaps and strengths. Liaise with the agencies to provide inputs in the development of the marketing calendar, budget and plan for the year. COMMUNICATIONS: Brand Marketing plan and calendar: Develop the marketing brief aligned to the marketing strategy and brief the empaneled agencies for the development of the marketing plan. Evaluate the creative plan and media plan developed by the agencies and provide recommendations to ensure its alignment with the brand and business requirements. COMMUNICATIONS: Marketing plan execution: Liaison with the creative agencies in the development of the collaterals / content/ shoot aligned to the marketing plan. Provide recommendations on the content / selection of celebrities / product shoot, etc. to ensure its alignment to the brand guidelines and business requirements. Coordinate with the media agencies for the placement and communication of the content in the digital / social media channels as per the agreed plan. COMMUNICATIONS: Performance monitoring: Evaluate the performance of the branding initiatives / campaigns vis a vis the plan and undertake action planning and course corrections as per the requirements. Evaluate the BTL campaigns collaterals to ensure its alignment with the branding strategy. COMMUNICATIONS: Brand management: Vendor / Agency management: Identify and shortlist vendors based on their capability / offerings aligned to the business requirements Provide support on development of statement of work and the price as per the requirements. Evaluate the vendors / agencies for the performance against agreed statement of work and undertake appropriate actions. PRODUCT: Product Management: New Product Development: Review the product brief developed and present the brief to the design team for the development of the concept. Evaluate and finalize the design concept / technical design concept and provide recommendations to ensure its alignment with the product requirements. Brief the NPD on the product to anchor the creation of the prototype and determine insourcing & outsourcing decisions. Oversee the prototype development, review & monitor the prototype development at each stage and finalize on the prototype. PRODUCT: Product Management: Pricing & inventory management: Liaison with the NPD team to determine the production price for products to ensure that price is within the agreed price range and garner required approvals / appropriate actions in case of deviations. Agree on the overall quantity with the NPD team and supply chain team for mass production. PRODUCT: Product Management: Go to Market Strategy: Determine the Go To Market strategy viz. branding, collaterals, packages, etc. of the developed product and ensure its executed as per the strategy. Liaison with the visual merchandising team for brief of VM team, approval of the design concept and sample at various stages and ensure the execution as per the plan. PRODUCT: Product Management: Portfolio Management: Undertake periodic modifications in the price of the products basis the market analysis, competitor analysis, inflation, product performance and business requirements. Determine the inventory plan for various products and sign off on the production plan aligned to the product calendar and business requirements. Ensure that the inventory is available at the right time in the various channels as per the plan and undertake appropriate actions. Develop the activation pricing mechanism in liaison with the sales team for the portfolio basis the product performance and business environment and garner the required approvals. PRODUCT: Product Management: Product Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of the newly introduced product and the existing product portfolio to optimize the performing inventory. Provide recommendations on the products basis the product performance for incremental product improvements and killing of poor performing SKUs. Provide inputs on the activation plans ensure the execution of the plan to boost the sales especially for poor performing products.
