As the Senior Manager for the Compact Modeling team at Micron Technology, you will be leading a high-impact team focused on developing and delivering compact models that drive the advancement of NAND and DRAM technologies. Your role will involve fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team. It is crucial to mentor and cultivate technical talent, promote best practices, and create an environment that empowers engineers to innovate and deliver high-quality modeling solutions. Your responsibilities will include leading a team of engineers in developing and delivering compact models across various domains such as CMOS, interconnect, array, and reliability. You will guide the complete model development lifecycle, collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure models meet performance goals, oversee the design of test structures to support model development, analyze device data, and communicate model performance metrics to global design teams. Qualifications for this position include a Masters or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field, along with 15+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry with a focus on compact modeling. You should have proven expertise in compact model development tools, model verification and validation, test structure definition, and delivering modeling collaterals as part of design enablement flows. A strong understanding of CMOS device physics, hands-on experience with wafer-level characterization, and familiarity with PDK development and design environments are also required. If you have experience in analog or memory circuit design, it would be considered a plus.
