Software Engineer (Development) This position is for Storage/Networking Engineers focusing on NAS Storage related new product development. Engineers who are interested in working on new product development in networking and/or storage and/or filesystem space involving file system features, network protocols, clustering and security. The ideal candidate comes with hands-on experience on Storage and/or Networking areas with good exposure to development processes. Strong verbal and written communication skills is a plus. Required Skills & Experience: Ideally 3-10 Years of solid experience working on development of Storage and/or Networking Systems Good understanding of NAS protocols (NFS, SMB/CIFS), Storage Subsystems, Network Transport Layer and Clustering. Experience with C/C++, standard Unix/Linux BSD socket APIs Familiar with Windows Active Directory domain protocols such as DCE/RPC, Kerberos, and LDAP Understand issues around performance and scalability under heavy loads

Planning, installation, commissioning and documentation of real-time simulators including for field devices and switching stations (with Matlab/Simulink and iba Logic)) Project-specific configuration and operation of real-time simulators within the scope of control & protection engineering and factory tests for HVDC and FACTS applications Execution of factory tests and preparation of test documentation as part of project handling and development of new plant systems together with the test team Technical handling of real-time simulators for external customers in connection with delivery and commissioning on site Collaboration in the preparation of quotations in the form of concept and customer clarifications and preparation of quotation documents. We dont need superheroes, just super minds: Initial experience in the areas of power converter technology (HVDC and FACTS), high-voltage technology, digital simulation technology as well as control and automation technology, programming in Matlab/Simulink. Basic knowledge in the configuration of operating systems (e.g. Windows 10 and Linux/BSD) and networks as well as in the areas of converter technology (HVDC), high-voltage technology and digital simulation technology Knowledge of real-time simulation systems, preferably with RTDS or comparable (such as Hypersim, e-megasim) and of simulation tools, preferably of EMTDC, EMTP-RV and/or Matlab/Simulink Fluent in English, both written and spoken Willingness to travel on business and abroad to deliver the system to the customer Initiative and motivation to learn, outstanding team and collaboration skills, enthusiasm to dive deeper into the field of Energy Transmission.
