One of the fast-growing SaaS portfolio companies is looking to hire a Staff Front-End Engineer in Chennai with over 10 years of experience. As a Staff Engineer-Frontend, you will be responsible for defining and shaping the frontend architecture, leading by example, and working with a passionate team of engineers to create pixel-perfect UIs, scalable frontend systems, and delightful user experiences. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing scalable frontend architectures using React, TypeScript, and modern SPA paradigms, building reusable design systems and component libraries, integrating Generative AI technologies, guiding the engineering team in implementing AI-powered features, setting frontend technical vision, and mentoring developers to ensure engineering excellence. You will collaborate with design and product teams to bring high-fidelity mockups to life, engineer real-time collaboration features, optimize frontend performance, establish patterns for state management and codebase modularity, and champion testability, type safety, accessibility, and developer productivity. You will also take ownership of major features and architectural decisions and lead by example with hands-on contributions and deep problem-solving skills. To be considered for this role, you should have over 10 years of experience building complex web applications using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frontend stacks. You should be an expert in React, proficient in SPA frameworks, have advanced JavaScript & TypeScript exposure, solid experience in HTML, CSS, SASS, performance optimization, browser APIs & web standards, and familiarity with build tools like Webpack and Vite.,
