Job Opening: Storage & SAN Administrator Hitachi Storage systems and Brocade Switches. Experience Level: 5+ Years Relevant Experience Expected CTC: Please mention in the resume Job Description (JD) We are hiring a skilled SAN & Storage Administrator to join our team in Navi Mumbai with at least 5 years of relevant experience in storage infrastructure management. A. Administration & Monitoring Daily management of SAN & storage environments. Collaborate with customer storage support teams. Participate in troubleshooting tasks and workflow enhancements. Manage storage operations and systems-level maintenance. Track storage usage trends and plan capacity. Maintain documentation, reporting, and procedures. Perform storage allocations to server infrastructure. B. Infrastructure Event Management Capacity management and trend analysis. Monitor SAN switch and storage subsystem capacity. Analyze performance and support future growth planning. C. Problem Resolution & RCA Conduct preliminary diagnostics and documentation. Coordinate with Hitachi Global Support for incident management. Maintain compliance with change management policies. D. Maintenance & Implementation Perform routine storage maintenance per Hitachi standards. Manage the implementation of additional storage infrastructure and services. E. Mentorship Train and mentor junior administrators. F. Solution Design Oversee installation, configuration, and de-provisioning of storage solutions. G. Performance Management Tune and analyze capacity; recommend remediation strategies. H. Disaster Recovery & Continuity Develop and maintain DR procedures and documentation. Manage data movement, replication, and DR testing. Skill Requirements 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAN & NAS storage infrastructure. Expertise with Hitachi Storage systems and Brocade Switches. Exposure to Unified Compute Platforms and OS-level operations (including basic cluster management). Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
