About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Journalist to join our editorial team. The ideal candidate should have strong writing, reporting, and research skills, with an interest in the education sector, schools, and EdTech trends. You will contribute to both print and digital platforms, including articles, interviews, news stories, and event coverage.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, write, and edit articles, blogs, and news stories for print and digital publications.
• Conduct interviews with educators, principals, industry leaders, and innovators.
• Create compelling stories, features, and thought-leadership pieces.
• Cover education-related events, conferences, and panel discussions.
• Prepare scripts and content for conferences, podcasts, and social media.
• Collaborate with the editorial and design teams to maintain tone, accuracy, and quality.
• Ensure content is original, engaging, and aligned with brand guidelines.
• Stay updated on education trends, policies, and developments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s / Master’s in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, or related field.
• 1–2 years of work experience in journalism, reporting, or content writing.
• Excellent command over English writing, editing, and storytelling.
• Strong interviewing and research skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced editorial environment.
• Familiarity with digital publishing tools (WordPress/CMS) and SEO principles.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple stories simultaneously.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in education journalism or media houses.
• Good understanding of social media content creation.
• Passion for education, learning, and impactful storytelling.
