We are looking for a highly skilled Maintenance Electronic/Electrical Engineer to join our technical team. Your primary responsibility will be the preventive and corrective maintenance of electronic and electrical systems across NEP's broadcast infrastructure, which includes OB trucks, studios, and data centers. We are seeking a hands-on professional with strong diagnostic capabilities and a deep understanding of broadcast standards. Your key responsibilities will include performing regular maintenance and servicing of broadcast equipment and electrical systems such as video routers, audio consoles, UPS systems, and power distribution units. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair faults in electronic and electrical systems both on-site and remotely. Additionally, you will support technical readiness for live events to ensure optimal equipment performance. It will also be crucial to maintain and update equipment documentation, wiring diagrams, and maintenance logs. You will assist with the installation, configuration, and testing of new broadcast systems or electrical upgrades. Collaboration with broadcast engineers, operations, and IT teams will be necessary to ensure seamless technical integration. You will also support health and safety compliance related to electrical infrastructure and participate in 24/7 technical support rotations for outside broadcasting. Managing spare parts inventory and coordinating procurement for replacement components will be part of your responsibilities. To be successful in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's Degree or Technical Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, or Broadcast Engineering and have at least 3 years of experience in a broadcast or media technology environment. You must possess a strong knowledge of electronic circuits, signal flow, power systems, and low-voltage installations. Familiarity with broadcast systems such as SDI, IP, RF, fiber optics, and signal distribution is essential. Experience with OB truck maintenance and broadcast-grade power systems is advantageous. The ability to read and interpret technical schematics and manuals is a must. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills are required. You should be willing to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, during live event coverage. Preferred certifications for this role include an Electrical Technician License (where applicable), AVIXA CTS, SMPTE, or manufacturer certifications like EVS, Grass Valley, or Sony.
