Familiarity with broadcast systems such as SDI, IP, RF, fiber optics, and signal distribution is essential. Experience with OB truck maintenance and broadcast-grade power systems is advantageous. The ability to read and interpret technical schematics and manuals is a must. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills are required. You should be willing to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, during live event coverage. Preferred certifications for this role include an Electrical Technician License (where applicable), AVIXA CTS, SMPTE, or manufacturer certifications like EVS, Grass Valley, or Sony.
