Location: Remote / Office Based Hours: 5:00 PM – 3:00 AM (Night Shift, U.S. Market Coverage) About the Role We’re expanding our freight brokerage team and looking for a driven Freight Broker Sales Agent. This is a frontline role handling customer sales, cold calling shippers, booking loads with carriers, and full track & trace support. You’ll be the direct point of contact keeping freight moving, solving problems in real time, and building lasting shipper relationships. Key Responsibilities Customer Sales & Outreach: Cold call and prospect shippers daily to secure new freight opportunities. Load Booking: Match freight with the right carriers, negotiate rates, and confirm load coverage. Track & Trace: Monitor shipments from pickup to delivery, proactively communicating with customers and carriers. Relationship Building: Develop strong customer and carrier partnerships to ensure repeat business. Problem Solving: Resolve issues quickly—whether it’s detention, breakdowns, or capacity crunches. Tech Use: Work across multiple TMS platforms and load boards (DAT, Truckstop, etc.) for freight posting, tracking, and carrier compliance. Requirements Proven experience in freight brokerage, dispatching, or transportation sales. Strong knowledge of U.S. logistics, FTL, LTL, reefer, dry van, and flatbed markets. Comfortable working night shift (5 PM – 3 AM) to align with U.S. freight schedules. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Must be organized, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Ability to manage multiple loads and accounts at once.
