The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, priming, and painting automotive and industrial components to a high standard of quality and durability. The role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to follow technical specifications and safety procedures in a fast-paced work environment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming as per specifications. Mix and apply paint (e.g., epoxy, enamel, polyurethane, Xylan, etc.) using spray guns and other equipment. Follow job cards, paint thickness requirements, and customer specifications. Perform visual and DFT (dry film thickness) checks to ensure coating quality. Maintain equipment in good working condition and report any issues promptly. Ensure safety and environmental compliance while handling chemicals and tools. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the painting booth and surrounding area. Coordinate with QA/QC for inspection and final release. Assist in material handling and recordkeeping of paint and consumables.
