You are looking for a Barista with a minimum of 3+ years of experience to join your team in Bangalore. As a Barista, your role will involve preparing and serving hot and cold beverages, including a variety of coffee and tea options. Your responsibilities will include educating customers on the drinks menu, providing recommendations based on their preferences, up-selling special items, and taking orders. It is essential to have customer service skills, knowledge of brewing equipment operation, and the ability to work various shifts to succeed in this role. Your main goal will be to ensure that guests have an excellent drinking experience. Your daily tasks will include greeting customers, offering drink menus, answering questions about ingredients, preparing beverages according to recipes, serving beverages and food items, keeping the bar area clean, maintaining stock of clean mugs and plates, checking the brewing equipment for proper operation, complying with health and safety regulations, and communicating customer feedback to managers. Additionally, you may be required to recommend new menu items based on customer feedback. To qualify for this position, you should have previous experience as a Barista or Waiter, hands-on experience with brewing equipment, knowledge of sanitation regulations, flexibility to work different shifts, basic math skills, the ability to understand customers" preferences, excellent communication skills, and a high school diploma (relevant training is a plus).
