As a Maintenance Engineer at Planys Technologies, you will be responsible for the preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of all ROV & Sub Systems both onsite and offsite. Your role will involve troubleshooting, resolution, and support for all ROV-related issues onsite and at the office. Additionally, you will be conducting testing of all PCBs and Crew Spare Module as per standard operating procedures (SOP). Your duties will also include maintaining a database of ROV-related data logs related to offsite and onsite maintenance, field issues, etc. You will provide support in procurement, vendor selection, and vendor management. Handling crew-related inventory and supporting in proper ROV packing, mobilization, and post-mobilization, including spare preparation, will be part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will support in the replication of new ROVs and assist the Tech Support team in updating internal troubleshooting maintenance documentation periodically based on site issues and key learnings. Ensuring strict adherence and compliance to health and safety protocols both onsite and at the Planys workshop is crucial in this role. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with 1-3 years of experience or a Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with 2-4 years of experience in a similar work profile. You must be willing to travel to sites as and when required.
