Key Responsibilities: Operate and calibrate ICP-MS and AAS instruments for sample analysis. Prepare and digest samples as per standard analytical protocols (e.g., EPA, ISO, BIS methods). Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of the instruments. Maintain accurate records of sample analyses, calibration logs, and maintenance reports. Ensure adherence to GLP/GMP and laboratory safety guidelines. Conduct quality control (QC) checks and ensure the accuracy and reproducibility of results. Assist in method development and validation for new analytical procedures. Coordinate with chemists and analysts to support R&D and routine testing needs. Manage reagents, consumables, and calibration standards inventory. Document non-conformities, instrument downtime, and report corrective actions taken. Requirements: Education: Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Instrumentation, or related field. Experience: Minimum 25 years of hands-on experience operating ICP-MS and/or AAS instruments . Experience with manufacturers such as Agilent, PerkinElmer, Shimadzu, Thermos Fisher, or similar is preferred. Skills: Strong understanding of instrumental analytical techniques. Good troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude for equipment upkeep. Familiarity with laboratory software and data interpretation. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
