Role & responsibilities: Manage maintenance of plastic injection moulding machines (e.g., Jon Wai, Milacron, Windsor, etc.) Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical issues of injection molding equipment. Perform timely breakdown maintenance for all machines and accessories, including: Injection Moulding Machines, Cranes, Chillers, Cooling towers, MTC, etc Regularly update: Breakdown and safety abnormalities, Spare part inventories, Daily logs and history cards Conduct root cause analysis (Why-Why) for recurring issues. Maintain and update the lubrication status for all machines. Schedule and execute preventive maintenance (PM) and predictive maintenance (PdM) plans. Supervise and train maintenance engineers, technicians, and support staff. Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) of failures and develop corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Maintain maintenance logs, machine history, and breakdown reports. Support audits (internal, external, customer) with required documentation. Drive OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) improvement initiatives. Preferred candidate profile: Department: Maintenance / Engineering Location: Silvassa, Dadra & Nagar Haveli (Near Vapi) Reports To: GM Plant and Management Experience: 5-10 years (Minimum 5 years in injection moulding environment) Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering Basic Electrical & Electronics Knowledge: Understanding of electrical circuits, components, and systems, with a focus on injection moulding machines. Hydraulic Knowledge: Proficiency in hydraulic systems, components, and troubleshooting in the context of injection moulding machines. Pneumatic Knowledge: Familiarity with pneumatic systems, air pressure circuits, and components relevant to injection moulding machinery. Mechanical Knowledge: Understanding of mechanical systems, including gears, bearings, motors, and drives, essential for the operation and maintenance of injection moulding machines. Circuit Tracing: Ability to trace electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical circuits for fault diagnosis and troubleshooting. Troubleshooting Methodology: In-depth knowledge of troubleshooting techniques for injection moulding machines and their accessories to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
