Branding & Label Designer – Digital Health & Functional Nutrition

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly creative Branding & Label Designer to craft compelling visual identities and packaging designs for an AI-enabled digital health ecosystem and its millet-based functional nutrition product line. This role will combine brand strategy, digital-first design, and regulatory-compliant packaging expertise to deliver premium, trustworthy, and consumer-friendly experiences.

The designer will ensure that all brand visuals—from digital touchpoints to physical product labels—reflect innovation, clinical credibility, and lifestyle appeal, positioning the company as a leader in personalized health and nutrition solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Brand Development: Create and evolve brand guidelines, visual systems, and storytelling assets for digital health and functional nutrition products.
  • Label & Packaging Design: Design packaging and labeling for nutrition products, supplements, and millet-based functional foods, ensuring alignment with regulatory and food safety requirements (FSSAI, international standards).
  • Digital Assets: Develop creative assets for websites, apps, social media, and marketing campaigns that reinforce brand identity.
  • Product Launch Support: Work with marketing, R&D, and regulatory teams to create compliant yet attractive labels and packaging for new product rollouts.
  • User-Centric Design: Translate scientific and clinical information into clear, consumer-friendly visuals for packaging, infographics, and brand messaging.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with nutritionists, product managers, and marketers to integrate design with product storytelling.
  • Vendor Coordination: Liaise with printers, packaging vendors, and suppliers to ensure design accuracy, quality, and cost efficiency.
  • Trend Research: Stay updated on global health, wellness, and consumer design trends, and adapt them to the Indian and global marketplace.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Branding, or related field (Master’s preferred but not required).
  • 2-3 years of experience in branding, packaging, or label design (preferably in food, nutrition, wellness, health or FMCG).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and modern design tools (Figma, Canva, etc.).
  • Experience with packaging production processes, dielines, and vendor coordination.
  • Knowledge of FSSAI, FDA, or other global packaging and labeling compliance standards.

Key Skills

  • Brand Storytelling: Ability to create a cohesive, premium identity across digital and physical platforms.
  • Packaging Expertise: Strong portfolio of label and packaging design, preferably in nutrition, health, or consumer food products.
  • Regulatory Awareness: Familiarity with mandatory label elements, nutrition facts, claims, and compliance requirements.
  • Creativity & Innovation: Ability to merge science-driven health solutions with appealing, lifestyle-oriented design.
  • Collaboration: Strong communication skills for cross-team work with marketing, product, and regulatory departments.
  • Detail Orientation: Accuracy in typography, color usage, and layout for both digital and print outputs.

Desired Experience

  • Designing for nutraceuticals, functional foods, or health-tech consumer products.
  • Experience with premium or wellness-oriented brands targeting health-conscious consumers.
  • Exposure to sustainable packaging design and eco-friendly material choices.
  • Experience adapting brand systems for both Indian and international audiences.

Reporting & Accountability

  • Reports to the Marketing/Branding Lead and works closely with Product Development and Regulatory teams.
  • Success will be measured by brand consistency, consumer appeal, compliance, and market adoption of products.

Compensation

  • Competitive salary with additional incentives tied to successful product launches, branding milestones, and consumer adoption.

This role is critical in shaping how consumers perceive and trust a pioneering digital health and functional nutrition ecosystem, ensuring both innovation and compliance are embedded into every touchpoint.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
