The job involves dispensing prescribed medicines accurately with the correct dosage and labelling. You will also be responsible for providing drug information and counseling to customers/patients. Maintaining records of prescriptions, invoices, and inventory will be a key part of your role. It is essential to ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and SOPs. For senior roles, supervising junior staff and assisting in store operations will be required. Additionally, monitoring expiry dates and managing returns and damages are part of the responsibilities. To be eligible for this position, you must have a D.Pharm / B.Pharm / M.Pharm from a recognized institute. A minimum of 3 years of experience is preferred, especially for Senior Pharmacist roles. Being registered with the State Pharmacy Council is mandatory. Strong knowledge of medications, brand-generic mapping, and patient care is essential. Good communication and customer-handling skills are also required. Prior experience in a retail pharmacy or healthcare company is considered a plus.
