Your primary objectives will include crafting the core brand strategy encompassing positioning, personality, style, and narrative. You will delve into understanding the target audience through behavioral and cultural insights, contribute to naming, identity direction, and brand architecture, and translate the brand strategy into actionable guidelines for packaging, digital presence, and marketing initiatives. Additionally, you will be involved in shaping the early go-to-market strategies, brand launches, retail formats, and enhancing customer experiences to ensure consistency and clarity across all touchpoints. To excel in this role, you should possess a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in brand development within freelance, agency, or consulting settings. A profound understanding of Indian consumer behavior and market trends is essential. Previous experience in working with FMCG, D2C, or lifestyle brands is preferred. You should demonstrate a strong grasp of go-to-market strategies, particularly with early-stage or challenger brands, and be capable of taking ownership of end-to-end brand development with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities Brand Creation & Identity Management and Events - Design or oversee development of logos, themes, and master brand guidelines. Average Monthly 2-3 new logo creations L&T Energy, CSR-Unnati, CSR Jyoti, L&T Heath Centres. Average monthly Creation of 2-3 nos. of Brand Usage Guidelines book of 100 pages. Approve all applications of the identity in print, digital, film, events, and signage. Monthly average 20-25 requests across L&T, on proper usage of brand and the formats. Manage URL reservations and ancillary digital assets. Trademark & IP Governance - Own the global trademark portfolio: search, filing, prosecution, renewal, and defense (new & legacy marks) New Trademark Registrations - L&T Energy, Energy Green & Clean, CSR-Unnati, CSR Jyoti, L&T CarbonLite Solutions. Renewal average 1-2 L&T S&L, L&T Shipbuilding. Draft and embed brand-usage licence clauses in business agreements and JV contracts. CSR-Unnati, CSR Jyoti, L&T Heath Centres (9 centres), giving points on Brand Usage Agreement to the NGOs, Vendors. Collaborate on patent-design applications linked to branded products or solutions. Address objections, oppositions, and infringement notices in concert with Legal. Giving documents on Dos & Donts of Logos. Brand Usage Audit & Compliance - Run scheduled auditsinternal (projects, campuses, sites) and external (vendors, dealers, fabricators, production houses). Across L&T 10-15 request per month, giving suggestions, evaluate and recreate as per Brand Guidelines. Monthly average 2-3 (Riyadh Office branding, Health Centre Building signages, Coimbatore Campus branding) Issue corrective-action reports and track closure; maintain less than 1 % critical-non-conformance rate. Review grey-area cases, interpret guidelines, and update the policy log. Monthly average 2-3 Suggestions are coming from the existing businesses. Updating brand guidelines documents, points which are not covered. Like Hydrocarbon to Energy, Power to CorbonLite. Training & Brand Awareness - Deliver hands-on workshops on correct brand usage, photography/video standards and IP basics. Educating new employee - Yearly 2 workshops on Brand Usage and 2 Workshop on photography/video. Educating on Images (Pic) of Projects, Products, Events, Functions. Maintain source files, templates, and reference material on digital portal. L&T all businesses more than 5000 Logos and formats (like TIFF, JPG, PDF, CDR, PNG SWG), All businesses Logo usage guidelines keeping readily available for usage. Act as mentor to designers, marketers, and agency partners on brand integrity. Stakeholder & Risk Management - Liaise with Procurement, Legal, CSR, Corporates and Business Units to embed brand clauses and educate stakeholders. Give guidance from CBMC in disputes, litigations, and enforcement actions. Required Qualifications & Experience Education: Degree in Design, from a premier fine arts college with additional certifications in Marketing and IPR Experience: 10 + years in brand management or IP administration, including end-to-end trademark filing and global brand-governance exposure. Technical Proficiency: Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop); MS Office (advanced PowerPoint). Trademark e-filing portals, docketing systems and watch services. Familiarity with DAM/CMS platforms and basic HTML is advantageous.
