Branch-In-Charge - Parcel Industry

Key Responsibilities1. Branch Operations

· Oversee all delivery and collection activities to ensure timely execution.

· Plan delivery routes efficiently and ensure adherence to schedules.

· Monitor driver performance and vehicle utilization.

· Review ERP entries and operational updates, including WhatsApp photo updates, daily.

2. Documentation

· Ensure accurate collection, verification, scanning, and uploading of PODs.

· Maintain LR, GDM, and expense records with precision.

· Keep all branch registers updated, including attendance, petty cash, and pending deliveries.

3. Finance

· Manage branch petty cash and submit weekly utilization reports.

· Monitor unloading charges, route allowances, fuel, and other local expenses.

· Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded in ERP.

4. Staff Management

· Supervise and guide branch staff, drivers, and loading teams.

· Maintain discipline, punctuality, and high performance standards.

· Conduct daily stand-up meetings and weekly operational reviews.

5. Vehicle Management

· Ensure vehicles are clean, well-maintained, and serviced regularly.

· Monitor insurance, servicing schedules, and overall vehicle readiness.

6. Customer & Business Development

· Maintain strong relationships with consignors, consignees, and clients.

· Conduct regular site visits and collect client feedback.

· Support local marketing initiatives and identify opportunities for business growth.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Logistics/warehouse management: 2 years (Required)
• Warehouse team management: 2 years (Required)
