Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement quantum algorithms for solving complex problems in various domains. Analyze and optimize quantum circuits for specific hardware implementations. Stay abreast of the latest developments in quantum computing and contribute to the company's intellectual property portfolio. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior quantum engineers and researchers. Design and execute experiments to test and validate quantum technologies and theories. Qualifications: A Master's or Ph.D. in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on quantum computing. 6 to 10 years of experience in quantum engineering or a related field. Deep understanding of quantum mechanics, linear algebra, and quantum information theory. Experience with quantum algorithms such as Grovers search, Shor’s algorithm, VQE, and QAOA. Knowledge of complexity theory and the ability to reason about quantum vs. classical complexity classes. Basic knowledge of different qubit technologies and hardware-specific constraints. Familiarity with current limitations of NISQ devices and common noise mitigation techniques. Proficiency with at least one major quantum SDK such as Qiskit (IBM) or Braket (AWS). Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex quantum concepts to a non-expert audience. Preferred Skills: Published research in quantum computing or related fields. Experience with quantum simulation and modeling tools. Contributions to open-source quantum computing projects. Active participation in the quantum computing community through conferences, workshops, or collaborations.
