You are invited to apply for the position of Commercial Contract Attorney in Gurugram, Haryana, India. With 6 to 10 years of relevant experience and a degree in LLB or LLM from a reputed university, you will be joining a team that thrives on curiosity, courage, and innovation. As part of our legal team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our commercial contracting function, particularly in the High-Tech, IT, and BPO sectors. Your responsibilities will include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various types of commercial agreements such as Master Services Agreements, NDAs, Statement of Work, Data Privacy Agreements, Licensing Agreements, and more. You will be expected to provide specialized expertise in contract review and drafting for IT and BPO contracts. Proficiency in technology tools like MS Word, Power-point, Excel, and digitized repositories is essential for this role. Working closely with a cross-functional team, you will be responsible for owning the documents assigned to you and meeting all deadlines, including short review and turn-around cycles. Flexibility in work timings is required to collaborate effectively with senior lawyers in other countries. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are crucial for building effective relationships and ensuring concise communication under pressure. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 6 to 10 years of experience in an in-house corporate legal team, focusing on reviewing and drafting commercial IT and outsourcing contracts. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in law is mandatory, along with the ability to work from Genpact's Gurgaon office and accommodate modified hours to overlap with stakeholders in the EU and US. Preferred qualifications include experience in managing multiple responsibilities and projects across cross-functional teams, along with a solution-oriented mindset. A strong understanding of contract laws, including intellectual property, indemnifications, liability, and IT/BPO outsourcing laws, is highly desirable for this role.,
