Sales & Marketing Head About the Role We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sales & Marketing Head to lead the commercial growth of our innovative home energy storage solution. This product is a residential battery system, designed to store solar energy, provide backup power, and reduce electricity bills. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and a hands-on leader, responsible for building and managing the sales and marketing functions from the ground up to achieve significant market penetration and revenue growth. ⚡ Key Responsibilities Develop and Execute Strategy: Formulate and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to drive market adoption of our product. Lead Generation & Sales: Identify and target key customer segments, including solar installers, home builders, and direct consumers. Establish and manage a sales pipeline, from lead generation to closing deals. Marketing & Branding: Create and manage all marketing initiatives, including digital marketing campaigns (SEO, SEM, social media), content creation, public relations, and trade show participation. Build a strong brand identity and market presence. Channel Partnerships: Develop and nurture relationships with strategic partners, such as solar panel companies, electrical distributors, and utility providers, to expand our sales channels. Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales and marketing team. Set clear goals, monitor performance, and provide coaching to ensure team success. Market Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements in the renewable energy and energy storage sectors. Use insights to refine strategies and identify new opportunities. Budget Management: Manage the sales and marketing budget effectively to maximize ROI on all activities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. MBA is a plus. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales and marketing, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role. Proven track record of success in selling technical products, preferably within the renewable energy, solar, or home automation industries. Strong understanding of residential energy systems and the broader clean energy landscape. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Experience in both B2B and B2C sales models. Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and marketing automation tools.
