As a Quality Engineer at Techtron Analytics, you will be responsible for testing, analyzing, and reporting on electro-mechanical products manufactured by the company. Your role will involve ensuring first piece approval in all processes, conducting inward materials inspections, and maintaining detailed records. You will also be responsible for inspecting machine shop lines, assembly lines, and conducting pre-delivery inspections while maintaining accurate records of each process. Furthermore, you will play a key role in segregating rejection quantities with proper documentation and maintaining a high level of 5S on the shop floor and assembly line. Supplier audits for mechanical products made by Techtron will also be part of your responsibilities, including conducting first piece inspections and approvals at the supplier end. To excel in this role, you should be proficient in using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, bore dials, and height gauges. Additionally, having the ability to analyze corrective and preventive actions in case of product or process failures is crucial for this position. The ideal candidate for this role should have a qualification of BE or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 75% aggregate marks. Freshers are welcome to apply, and the work location will be in Coimbatore, reporting to the Head of Operations at Techtron Analytics. Basic skills required for this position include the ability to study drawings and utilize basic functionalities of AutoCAD, as well as good proficiency in Microsoft Office and MS Excel. Strong communication skills in English and Tamil are also essential.
