You are currently seeking a FPGA Validation Prototyping Lead to join our team. As the lead, your responsibilities will include building images for partitions using platforms such as HAPs (Synopsys), ProFPGA platform (Siemens), and other custom FPGA prototype platforms. You will also be involved in RTL porting, constraint generation, debug insertion, and validation using the ProFPGA platform for testing. Additionally, your role will encompass tasks such as firmware stitching, debugging, bring up, boot flow, and ensuring the successful operation of the prototypes. The ideal candidate will have a total work experience of at least 5 years and be proficient in FPGA validation and prototyping processes. As a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining embedded systems and software. Your expertise in C/C++ and embedded systems will be crucial in ensuring the success of projects. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and test embedded software and firmware for various applications. - Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software and hardware components. - Optimize and debug embedded systems to ensure high performance and reliability. - Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Required Qualifications: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. - Minimum of 7-9 years of experience in embedded systems development. - Strong programming skills, preferably in C++/C. - Strong understanding of embedded systems architecture and design principles. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and teamwork skills. - Good experience in multimedia framework and ARM based chipsets. - Solid aptitude, quick learner, self-motivated, willing to explore and work across various technology areas. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Windows and Linux kernel and driver development and Android HAL development. - Strong knowledge of Boot flow and OS internals. - Experience with PC software - System BIOS, UEFI, ACPI, Drivers, Applications. - Embedded OS knowledge (Kernel architecture, OS services heap, memory, multi-core, multi-threading, and crash debugging). - Experience in system performance profiling and optimization techniques. - Proficiency in debugging tools and techniques (e.g., WinDbg, JTAG, GDB). - Understanding of hardware interfaces and communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART). - Develop and maintain documentation for software designs, code, and test procedures. - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation. - Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR - Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
