Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Admission Counselor based in Mumbai. The Admission Counselor will be responsible for guiding students through the admission process, providing information on various universities, and assisting with application procedures. Daily tasks include conducting research on educational institutions, advising students on course selection, processing applications, coordinating with universities, and supporting students with visa and travel arrangements. Key Responsibilities: Respond to student enquiries via phone, email, or in person, providing detailed information about admission eligibility, universities and application and visa process. Conduct one-on-one consultations with students and parents to understand their needs and guide them through the application process. Maintain and update student records, ensuring accurate documentation and timely follow-up with potential candidates. Provide support during the application process. Coordinate with other departments to ensure a smooth transition from admission to enrolment for new students. Stay informed about industry trends, new universities and fee structures to provide the best advice and guidance to prospective students. Meet performance targets. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in any field. Proven experience in a counselling or customer service role, preferably in the education sector. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to work. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant tools. CRM management Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Working Conditions: Full-time position with standard office hours. Occasional travel for recruitment events may be required.
