Utthunga is seeking a skilled and experienced Travel Desk Executive to manage and coordinate both domestic and international (global) travel requirements for our employees. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end travel coordination, ensuring cost-effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance with company policies, thereby providing seamless travel support to our workforce. Key Responsibilities Handle end-to-end travel arrangements for employees, including flights, hotels, ground transportation, and visa processing for both domestic and international travel. Book and manage travel itineraries ensuring alignment with company travel policies and budget guidelines. Negotiate with airlines, hotels, and travel agencies to secure the best rates and services. Provide timely and accurate travel information and assistance to employees before, during, and after their trips. Process travel requests , obtain necessary approvals, and manage expense reconciliation related to travel. Maintain comprehensive records of all travel bookings, expenditures, and employee travel profiles. Address and resolve any travel-related issues or emergencies that may arise (e.g., flight delays, cancellations, re-bookings). Ensure compliance with company travel policies and procedures, as well as relevant visa and immigration regulations. Generate regular reports on travel expenses, cost savings, and travel patterns. Stay updated on travel industry trends, tools, and best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications Proven experience as a Travel Desk Executive or similar role, with exposure to both domestic and international travel. Strong knowledge of travel booking platforms, GDS systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo) is highly preferred. Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills . Exceptional organizational and time management abilities , with a keen eye for detail. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle unexpected situations calmly and efficiently. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with employees, vendors, and stakeholders globally. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
