Role & responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports
• Tax Compliance: Manage tax filings and ensure adherence to Australian tax laws and regulations.
• Preparation, review and filing of statutory monthly, quarterly and annual return including FBT, BAS, IAS, CTR, TPAR, STP, ITR and Payroll tax return & other ATO Lodgement obligation
• Processing Accounts receivable and Accounts payable
• Advisory: Provide financial insights to support management in decision-making
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and maintain accurate financial records
• System Management: Introduce and maintain accounting systems like XERO
• Performance Monitoring: Track financial performance and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency gains
• Coordinating with Foreign client over through phone calls
• Ensuring clients are made aware of their compliance obligations

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA (Certified Practising Accountant) or CA (Chartered Accountant) qualification.
• Minimum 1 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Knowledge of XERO would be added advantage
• Ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
• Communication Ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.
