The SAP GTS Senior Resource position is immediately available with VARITE INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED. This role requires 7 to 12 years of experience and offers full-time employment in a remote work mode. The primary responsibilities include hands-on experience in implementing at least 1-2 full cycle SAP implementation projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong business process knowledge and be able to associate processes to technical areas in SAP GTS. The SAP GTS Senior Resource will be responsible for various aspects of SAP GTS, including Compliance management (Sanction party list screening, Embargo, Product Classification, Legal control - Export, Import) and Customs management (Customs declarations Export and Import process, Inward Process, Transit/Presentation, Bonded warehouse, Electronic filing, product classification). The candidate must have a proven track record in SAP GTS service upgrade projects and should be able to understand and evaluate business requirements to design feasible technical solutions within project timelines. Key responsibilities include gathering application-specific project requirements, participating in pre-project launch discussions, driving detailed application design in SAP applications, collaborating on project design, and ensuring superior quality in technical deliverables. The successful candidate will also be required to have basic ABAP debugging skills, interact with developers, and possess exposure to IDOCs and Test Scripts preparation. Qualifications for the position include a minimum of 5 years of relevant SAP GTS experience. The preferred skills include hands-on experience in implementing full cycle SAP projects, understanding business requirements, and driving comprehensive System Integration Testing. Coordinate all activities related to the import of goods from international suppliers, Procurement & Stores team. Bonded warehouse shipment execution. Verify shipping and customs documentation including Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, etc. Ensure accurate and timely submission of import BOE before shipment arrival. Keep record of all the advance license utilisation. Maintain the bonded warehouse stock record. Ensure accurate and timely submission of import documents to banks (for LC cases) and customs authorities. Communicate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, clearing agents (CHA) & Transporter for shipment tracking and clearance. Monitor and follow up on import shipments to ensure timely arrival and clearance. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs regulations and import/export policies. Handle HS code classification, import duty calculations, and exemption documentation. Assist in negotiating freight and logistics terms with service providers. Maintain accurate records of all import transactions and reports. Work closely with internal departments (procurement, finance, warehouse) to align import schedules. Other Requirements: Strong knowledge of import procedures, Incoterms, and customs regulations. Proficiency in MS Office. Ability to manage multiple shipments and prioritize tasks effectively. Familiarity with LC (Letter of Credit) and international trade finance terms. Experience working with government portals (DGFT, ICEGATE, etc.) Knowledge of logistics cost optimization.

Also, worked on configuration of Document structure, Legal regulations Numbering schemes. • Candidate should have worked on Customs declaration processing Customs Import Declaration process and Customs Export Declaration Process with UK Customs and German customs (ATLAS) and AES. • Candidate should have good Exposure in Customs Management (Product Classification [HTS/Commodity codes], Customs Processing, Trade Document Services, and electronic communications). • Candidate should have knowledge on Risk management. • Candidate should have knowledge of GTS integration with ECC & CRM and various other SAP interfaces. • Nice to have an experience in S4HANA GTS version (E4H).
