Job Profile: Electrical Operator Location: Pune (Chakan) Experience, Fresher to 2 years Role & Responsibilities Operates plant equipment to generate enough electrical power to meet demand; regulates flow of power between generating stations and substations. Uses software, tools, and other devices to control and change equipment settings. Monitors plants and dams and coordinates stream flow to meet power demands. Regulates transmission loads, frequencies, and line voltages. Performs preventive and required maintenance and troubleshoots equipment problems; tasks may include testing auto-start features or repacking valves. Inspects turbines, generators, boilers, and other equipment; makes necessary repairs or modifications. Cleans, lubricates, and maintains parts and equipment to prevent failure and degradation. Drafts and maintains documentation related to equipment, rainfall data, and general operating instructions and schedules. Maintains knowledge of plant operation best practices and safety protocols, which may include active participation in refresher and new training coursework. Experience and Qualification: Candidates should be graduate in Mechanical / Chemical / Production Engineering from reputed institutes with minimum 5 to 15 years of experience. The ideal candidate should possess extensive technical expertise and proficiency in managing Fired Equipments like Boilers, Furnaces, Incinerators, Reformers, Flares, etc. particularly in autonomous mode. Preference will be given to candidates with prior work experience in Refinery, Petrochemical, Fertilizer, or Chemical Plants, specifically in an EPC environment. Preferred candidate profile Demonstrate proficiency in executing engineering activities related to Fired Equipments, ensuring adherence to project schedules and allocated manhours. Effectively coordinate interdisciplinary teams within the project, with a primary responsibility for the preparation and verification of diverse project documents. This includes supply specifications, mechanical specifications, material requisitions, technical bid evaluations, vendor documentation, and erection work requisitions. Actively participate in key project meetings, including kick-off meetings with vendors, 3D model reviews, HAZOP sessions, SIL reviews, and other relevant discussions. Possess a robust understanding of International and National design codes and standards pertinent to the field. Support Inspection and Construction departments as required.

In addition, the engineer must ensure seamless communication between IoT devices and industrial systems such as SCADA, DCS, and HMI platforms. Key Responsibilities Design and develop IoT systems that interface with thermal, mechanical, and energy systems. Collaborate closely with mechanical engineers to interpret and apply thermodynamic equations, such as those related to heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and energy conservation. Translate physical models into data acquisition logic and embedded algorithms. Integrate temperature, pressure, flow, and energy sensors with microcontrollers and edge devices. Develop firmware for embedded platforms (e.g., ESP32, STM32, Raspberry Pi) using C/C++/Python. Implement communication protocols such as MQTT, Modbus, LoRaWAN, NB-IoT, and BLE. Connect physical systems to cloud platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, etc.) for realtime monitoring and analytics.
