Job Title: Lab Technician Mechanical / Thermal / E&I Location: Hyderabad Employment Type: Full-Time Department: R&D / Testing & Evaluation Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Lab Technician with a background in Mechanical, Thermal, or Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) engineering. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in setting up lab infrastructure in a startup environment and will be responsible for supporting boiler testing, vacuum component assembly, and evaluation activities . Key Responsibilities Assist in setting up and maintaining lab equipment for mechanical and thermal testing Conduct boiler performance tests , including pressure, temperature, and efficiency evaluations Assemble and test vacuum components , ensuring compliance with design and safety standards Support prototype development , instrumentation setup, and data acquisition systems Maintain accurate test logs, calibration records , and documentation Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and optimize test setups Ensure safety protocols and lab standards are followed at all times Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for lab processes and equipment Qualifications Diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical / Thermal / Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering 24 years of experience in lab setup, testing, or evaluation , preferably in a startup or R&D environment Hands-on experience with boilers, vacuum systems, sensors, and instrumentation tools Familiarity with data logging software, PLCs, or control systems is a plus Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams #Immediate joiners are preferred.
