Boiler Operator

To operate, monitor, and maintain boilers safely and efficiently to ensure uninterrupted steam supply for spice oil and oleoresin extraction processes, in compliance with statutory and safety requirements.

Key ResponsibilitiesBoiler Operations

• Operate and monitor boilers as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure continuous and adequate steam supply for extraction, distillation, and allied processes.
• Start up, shut down, and control boiler operations safely.
• Monitor boiler parameters such as pressure, temperature, water level, and fuel consumption.

Maintenance & Monitoring

• Perform routine checks, cleaning, and basic preventive maintenance of boilers and accessories.
• Identify abnormalities, leakages, or malfunctioning equipment and report to maintenance team.
• Maintain boiler log books, daily operational records, and fuel consumption data.
• Ensure proper functioning of safety valves, gauges, feed water pumps, and blowdown systems.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with Factories Act, Boiler Act, and Pollution Control norms.
• Follow all safety procedures related to boiler operation and fuel handling.
• Ensure timely testing and certification of boiler as per statutory requirements.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and follow emergency shutdown procedures.

Utilities & Coordination

• Coordinate with production, maintenance, and QA teams for steam requirements.
• Assist during inspections by Boiler Inspector, Factories Inspector, and auditors.
• Support energy conservation initiatives and efficient fuel usage

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹13,288.35 - ₹20,000.00 per month
