Principal Accountability To ensure the effective operation of boilers equipment's as per the standard operating procedure. To ensure all the maintenance activities are carried out as per schedule (Standard Operating Procedure). To maintain critical spares. To raise purchase requisitions. To ensure the materials purchased are as per requirement. To reduce maintenance cost. To reduce the boiler breakdown hours. To ensure the effective operation of boilers and its related equipment's throughout the shift. To ensure uninterrupted steam supply at required pressure to the end users. To check and maintain safety equipment's in boiler. To ensure availability of water and fuel to run the shift. To ensure regular lubrication and maintenance of boiler equipment's. To record all abnormality in operation parameters and equipment's. To coordinate with the end users regarding their steam requirement and availability of steam.

Assist with general maintenance tasks such as cleaning, repairing, and organizing workspaces Support operations in different departments as needed, including but not limited to production, logistics, and administrative tasks Operate basic machinery and equipment following safety protocols and guidelines Handle physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials or products Participate in team meetings and collaborate with colleagues to accomplish goals efficiently Follow instructions from supervisors and communicate effectively to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time Maintain inventory levels by monitoring stock and reporting shortages or discrepancies Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding health, safety, and environmental regulations Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and suggest innovative solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency Perform other duties as assigned by management

A Boiler DCS (Distributed Control System) Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring boiler systems using a DCS, ensuring safe and efficient operation while maintaining optimal performance

Role & Responsibilities: Boiler Operation: Monitor and control boiler operations, including water levels, fuel levels, pressure, and temperature. Start up, shut down, and operate boilers according to established procedures and safety protocols. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of boiler equipment, including blowdowns, cleaning, and water treatment. Troubleshoot and diagnose boiler malfunctions and implement corrective actions promptly. Ensure the availability of adequate steam supply to meet production demands. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and best practices related to boiler operation. Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure that all safety equipment is in good working order. Maintain accurate records of boiler operations, maintenance activities, and fuel consumption. Maintenance and Repairs: Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on boiler equipment as per the maintenance schedule. Assist in the installation and repair of boiler components. Coordinate with maintenance personnel and contractors for major repairs and upgrades. Water Treatment: Monitor and maintain water quality in the boiler system. Training and Guidance: Provide guidance and training to junior operators on safe boiler operation and maintenance procedures. Stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies related to boiler operation. Preferred candidate profile Education: ITI Graduate & Technical or vocational training in boiler operation is highly preferred. Experience: 6-7 years of hands-on experience in operating and maintaining industrial boilers, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Candidate must have exp using Gas as a fuel, Coal or Husk used as a fuel will not work.
