BOILER DCS ENGINEER

Role Overview: As a Boiler Operator, your primary responsibility will be to monitor operations through a Distributed Control System (DCS) to ensure the safe and efficient functioning of the CFBC boiler. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor critical parameters such as bed temperature, pressure, cyclone performance, and emissions to optimize combustion efficiency, fuel feed, and bed material circulation. - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards by strictly adhering to plant safety procedures, permit systems, and operational limits. - Communicate effectively with field engineers and technicians, and provide support to maintenance teams during breakdowns, overhauls, and inspections. - Maintain daily reports, logs, and report deviations, shutdowns, and maintenance activities to ensure operational transparency. - Control emissions and monitor environmental aspects to ensure SOx/NOx/particulate emissions are within permissible limits. - Supervise boiler auxiliary systems such as ID/FD/PA fans, fuel feeders, ash handling, and air preheaters to ensure proper functioning and integration with the main boiler system. - Train and guide junior engineers and operators, and stay updated with control systems and CFBC technology advancements.
