Basic maintenance skills for machine upkeep. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate lathe machines (manual) with DRO systems for turning operations. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining processes and material requirements. Select and install appropriate tools and materials for the lathe operation. Monitor machine performance, adjust settings for optimal results, and ensure precise measurements are maintained. Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers) to ensure they meet quality and tolerance requirements. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure continuous operation. Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
