As a Hardware Testing Engineer in Bangalore, you will be responsible for developing bring-up test plans for new boards based on PCB design files. Your role will involve performing board bring-up tests, including power/analog/digital, embedded controller, and power electronics circuitries. Additionally, you will prepare and conduct high current (up to hundreds of amps) and/or high voltage (up to 1000 V) development and characterization tests on prototype units. You will troubleshoot issues and propose solutions such as circuit malfunctions, switching noise coupling, and component overheating. Hands-on modification of circuit boards will be required to verify the proposed solutions. Furthermore, you will be responsible for preparing issue trackers and test reports. To excel in this role, you should have hands-on experience configuring, troubleshooting, and testing embedded controller and power electronics boards. Proficiency with electronics test equipment, including power supplies, electronics loads, oscilloscopes, current and voltage probes, function generators, impedance analyzers, and frequency spectrum analyzers is essential. Experience with board rework and component soldering is also required. Familiarity with high voltage testing safety practices and industry-standard communication interfaces such as JTAG, CAN, and Ethernet will be beneficial. You should be able to read and interpret component datasheets, PCB schematics, and layout designs effectively. Ideally, you should have 1-3 years of relevant experience to succeed in this role.,
