As a Sr. Hardware Design Engineer at Tekargus, located in Hyderabad, you will be responsible for working on high-speed board designs for networking, broadband, and communication products. Your role will encompass all phases of development, including specification, schematic capture, layout review, mechanical design review, and hands-on board debug and testing. In this position, you will collaborate with various functional groups such as software designers, test engineers, and marketing teams. Your responsibilities will also include providing support for software integration testing and offering product support to customers. To excel in this role, you should demonstrate proficiency in high-speed multi-layer board design with network processors, DSPs, or micro-controllers. Knowledge and experience in working with high-end processor-based architectures, FPGAs, and multi-board systems will be crucial. Additionally, strong application knowledge and board debugging skills are essential for this role. The ideal candidate must possess a good working knowledge of schematic entry tools such as Orcad or Viewlogic, as well as PCB layout tools like PADS or Allegro. Being a self-starter who requires minimal supervision is key, along with being a team player with excellent communication skills. A proven track record of meeting tight schedule commitments is highly desirable for this position.
