Role Overview: We’re looking for a passionate and skilled Django Developer to join our core product development team. You’ll work closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to build scalable and user-friendly features for our rapidly evolving SaaS platform. Responsibilities: Design and implement robust, scalable backend systems using Django and Django Rest Framework. Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate APIs with Angular or React based interfaces. Work on database schema design, performance optimization, and migration strategies. Write clean, maintainable, and testable code. Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and architecture discussions. Debug production issues and provide timely fixes. Implement third-party integrations such as biometric devices, email/calendar services, and payment gateways. Requirements: 2–4 years of hands-on experience in Django & Django REST Framework. Proficiency in PostgreSQL or MySQL. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, MVC, and REST principles. Familiarity with Git workflows, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with Celery, Redis, and background task management is a plus. Knowledge of API security, performance optimization, and caching strategies. Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, agile team environment. Good to Have: Experience in multi-tenant SaaS architecture. Familiarity with frontend frameworks Angular is a bonus. Exposure to Kubernetes or AWS (EC2, S3, RDS) is a big plus. Previous experience building ERP/HRMS/CRM or similar systems.
