You are a skilled and detail-oriented ELV Systems Engineer who will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and overseeing the implementation of ELV systems, which include Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, Public Address, Structured Cabling, and BMS interfaces. Your primary objective will be to ensure that system designs align with project specifications, industry standards, and compliance requirements from the initial concept phase through to project handover. You will be tasked with designing and reviewing ELV systems such as CCTV, Fire Alarm, PA, and Access Control based on project specifications and standards. Your duties will also include preparing system layouts, schematics, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs), as well as supervising installation, testing, and commissioning activities. Collaboration with MEP, civil, and architectural teams will be necessary to ensure seamless integration. Furthermore, it will be crucial for you to guarantee compliance with NFPA, BS, IEC, and local safety codes, conduct site inspections, and address any technical issues that may arise. Your role will also involve liaising with vendors and contractors to ensure the quality and timely execution of projects. Additionally, you will provide technical support, prepare reports, documentation, and as-built drawings to support project requirements. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Telecom Engineering and possess at least 3 years of experience in ELV design and execution. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office is required, while knowledge of ELV software will be advantageous. Familiarity with NFPA, BICSI, and SIRA standards is essential, along with strong communication and coordination skills.
