Experience with Software Configuration Management Systems (especially Perforce) is a plus. Key Responsibilities: 1. Develop and maintain test automation frameworks for embedded systems. 2. Conduct system testing for wearable products, focusing on display and sensor functionalities. 3. Perform Bluetooth profile and stack testing, with a test-centric approach. 4. Collaborate to define key performance metrics and develop test specifications for product release. 5. Provide detailed and concise test reports. 6. Manage and utilize Software Configuration Management Systems like Perforce. Requirements: 1. 2-8 years of experience in Test Automation and system testing. 2. Proficiency in C and Python programming, with a strong understanding of OOP concepts. 3. Knowledge and experience in Bluetooth profiles and stack testing. 4. Experience in automation frameworks development for embedded environments. 5. Strong knowledge in wearables product testing, specifically for display and sensor systems. 6. Familiarity with Software Configuration Management Systems (preferably Perforce). 7. Ability to write test specifications and ensure they meet standards for product release. 8. Responsibilities: - Lead the development and execution of Python/Embedded C-based automation frameworks and scripts to streamline testing processes for Bluetooth technologies and associated hardware. - Test and validate Bluetooth profiles including HFP, A2DP, and LE Audio for performance, compatibility, and reliability across multiple devices and platforms. - Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies for Bluetooth functionality, covering functional and non-functional testing, including regression, performance, and stress tests. - Work closely with hardware engineers, software developers, and product managers to ensure comprehensive test coverage for Bluetooth-enabled devices and systems. - Investigate, identify, and resolve issues related to Bluetooth connectivity, interoperability, and performance, collaborating with relevant teams to drive resolutions. - Document test results, track defects, and provide clear and actionable insights to stakeholders to ensure product quality and timely releases. Skills Required: - At least 7+ years of experience in software testing/development, focusing on test automation using Python/Embedded C and working with Bluetooth technologies. - Proficiency in Python/Embedded C for test automation, script development, and frameworks. - In-depth knowledge and experience with Bluetooth profiles such as HFP, A2DP, and LE Audio, including testing and troubleshooting these protocols. - Familiarity with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and Bluetooth stack, along with experience in Bluetooth testing tools and methodologies. - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, particularly in complex Bluetooth connectivity and performance issues. - Familiarity with test management tools, version control systems, continuous integration, and automated test execution tools. - Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present findings clearly to stakeholders. - Proven leadership skills to guide teams and deliver quality results on time. Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field. - Experience with the Bluetooth Qualification process or Bluetooth certification. - Additional experience with C/C++ for embedded systems or low-level testing is a plus.
