As a member of Team Geek Solutions, a leading technology firm dedicated to developing innovative software solutions, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance iOS applications using Swift. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to introduce new features, ensuring the quality and responsiveness of applications, and identifying and resolving bugs to uphold code quality and performance. It will be essential to stay updated on the latest trends in iOS development and integrate them into our applications effectively. Your responsibilities will also include participating in the entire application lifecycle, with a focus on coding and debugging, conducting code reviews, and providing constructive feedback to team members. You will collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement modern interfaces that enhance user experience and work with APIs to integrate and communicate with backend services. Additionally, you will contribute to maintaining and improving existing applications through effective problem-solving and participate in agile ceremonies for sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and possess at least 5 years of experience in iOS development, with a strong portfolio of released applications. Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C programming languages, familiarity with Xcode, Interface Builder, and Instruments, and a solid understanding of Apple's Human Interface Guidelines are required. Knowledge of app architecture patterns such as MVC and MVVM, experience with Core Data and other persistence frameworks, and familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services are essential. Furthermore, you should have hands-on experience with version control systems, particularly Git, excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, experience with Agile development methodologies, and a curiosity to learn new technologies and stay abreast of the evolving development ecosystem are also desired qualities. Previous experience in mentoring junior developers will be considered a plus.
