BLUE MARINE SERVICE

Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Lathe Turner at Blue Marine Service located in Ponnani. The Lathe Turner will be responsible for operating and maintaining lathe machines to shape metal or wooden materials to specifications. Daily tasks include setting up tools, measuring and verifying dimensions, monitoring machines during operation, and ensuring final products meet quality standards. Additionally, the Lathe Turner will read and interpret technical drawings and manuals, and perform routine maintenance on equipment. Qualifications Proficient in operating and maintaining lathe machines Experience with measuring and verifying dimensions of machined parts Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals Strong attention to detail and quality assurance skills Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills Experience in routine maintenance of lathe machinery Excellent problem-solving abilities Good communication and teamwork skills Previous experience in a similar role in the marine industry is a plus
