As a Senior Storage Engineer at AHEAD, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and ensuring the overall health of storage technologies in our managed services customer's environments. You will be an integral part of the Managed Services Infrastructure Practice - Storage and DPS team, focusing on Tier 3 incident management, service request management, and change management infrastructure support for all Managed Services customers. Your responsibilities will include providing enterprise-level operational support for incident, problem, and change management activities, planning and executing maintenance tasks, evaluating customer environments for performance and design issues, collaborating with technical teams to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, and serving as a subject matter expert and escalation point for storage technologies. You must have over 10 years of expert-level experience with Dell Isilon/PowerScale, including best practices, as well as at least 5 years of experience with Dell Unity. Proficiency in disaster recovery and data replication technologies, block and file migration, administration of switching technologies, and operational administration of IT systems is essential. Furthermore, experience with monitoring platforms like LogicMonitor and enterprise ITSM systems such as Service Now is beneficial. Familiarity with storage platforms like Pure or NetApp, cloud platforms, and managed services or consulting experience is required. As an OCI Cloud Engineer, you will collaborate with senior engineers to design, develop, and maintain various components of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services. Understanding of Boot, Block, NFS volumes, NVMe drives, OCI BM Servers, and associated knowledge regarding bare metal servers is essential.
